New for 2026

 Hello Crafters,

Sorry I have been away for such a long time, but I have been busy with work and life in general.

I am still doing Stampin Up and still creating the monthly Sheetload of Cards.

But something new will be doing a Sketch A Month.  A sketch will be picked and I will make a card with it, also a christmas card (well I didn't have enough at Christmas and thought I would start earlier).  These will go on my blog and via Instagram and Facebook via my stampwithsandie accounts.

Please feel free to join in the crafting and comment on any of the platforms with your makes or if you have a sketch you wish me to try.

Looking forward to February.

Bunch of Thanks Kit

Hello Crafters,

Most of my crafters know how I love to Kill a Kit and this one was no exception.

The kit is beautiful but I didn't want to make just 8 cards.

23 cards later, would have been 24 but I messed up one of the flowers. Need to add some words on them but kit all good and killed.

Scrapbook calendar

Hello crafters,

Few of you will be aware that I am trying my hand at scrapbooking and this year I am planning on doing a page a month, like a little calendar of something I have done monthly.

These are January through to April's pages.

This was our New Year cruise with our friend's Sharon and Simon down the river Rhine.

And February of course was our wedding day.

March we took a trip with 2 of Paul's daughter's to Salts Mill in Saltaire, Shipley, West Yorkshire, a lovely place to visit,

And April was your visit to the Isle Of Skye to visit our friends Lisa and Paul

Love doing these pages and looking forward to finishing May, June and July's off.

Worms and snooker tables

Hello Crafters,

Absolutely nothing at all to do with crafting but I felt I had to tell you about it

When I was much younger I worked in a record shop called Max Millwards Records.  Now this was a record shop, sold vinyl, cassettes tapes, onto videos and cds.

One Saturday a lady walked in headed to the counter and asked Max "Do you have any snooker tables left in stock".

Max took this request in his stride, looked under the counter (the counter was about 2 foot between them both) he popped his head back up and said, "sorry no, but should have some more in stock in a couple of weeks", she said thank you and walked out.

I thought this was going to be the strangest thing I was going to hear until today, when I received this text:

"Have you got any worms in your garden as I don't seem to have any in mine"

Yes I dutifully went into my garden got some worms and took them round to my friend who was after them, it seems for a little bird who she was caring for.

So I need to ask, what is the strangest thing you have been asked or heard?

Cuppa and Card class

Hello Crafters,

Saturday was Cuppa and Card class at K Teas Cakes in Wolverhampton.

The ladies that joined me for the class made these cards, and there might have been some cake being eaten whilst making them.

We had lots of fun making them.
